Robert de Rooy (BComm, LLB, MBA), is a commercial attorney with 20 years’ experience. He is also the developer of the Comic Contract, the world’s first fully illustrated contract that illiterate people can understand and sign. Together with his wife, two teenage daughters and 4-year-old son, he lives in Cape Town, where he tries to balance his work and family life with some cycling and surfing.

Tom Peacock

Tom is our finance director and has been with the business since the very beginning. He runs his own consulting firm, Scarab Financial and works with other successful companies such as Jincom and Sushibox.

Claire Harcourt-Cooke (BSocSci, BCom Honours, MCom) completed her Masters thesis on the use of comics in financial services. She is the Project Director at Creative Contracts and ensures a streamlined timeline between the studio and clients.

Linka Maritz 

Linka is the Creative Director for Creative Contracts. She has over 10 years experience in simplifying complex documents from multiple industries, including mining, construction, agriculture, healthcare and more. She write all of our scripts and oversees the creative team. She is currently pursuing her Masters in science communication.

Berna Viljoen

Berna serves as head of design in our studio with over 10 years experience. She’s designed campaigns, visual contracts and other communications tools and now manages a team of designers too.

Lwazi Kunene

Lwazi works as our head of illustration and is well known for his immaculate illustration style and lively facial expressions.
